  • A Campus Master Plan is a long-range roadmap that evaluates existing buildings, sites, and operations and identifies priorities for future improvements. It aligns facilities, open space, and campus functions with the organization’s mission and long-term needs, providing clear guidance for investment.

  • Growth, evolving needs, aging facilities, and new opportunities make this an important time to step back and assess how the campus can best support the community into the future. This process creates a shared understanding of current conditions and establishes a thoughtful plan before major investments are made.

  • The planning process is organized into three phases—Engage, Analyze, and Envision—and will wrap up in late June 2026. Key milestones include stakeholder conversations, a State of the Campus summary, visioning sessions, and Campus Open House events, culminating in a Final Campus Master Plan.

  • Opportunities to participate include stakeholder conversations, Campus Open House events, and online engagement tools. Updates and input opportunities will be shared throughout the process to ensure broad participation.

  • The Campus Master Plan provides the strategic foundation for the capital campaign. It identifies and prioritizes the projects that best support the FHC mission, ensuring that future fundraising and investments are aligned with a clear, community-supported plan.

  • “Forward in Faith” expresses the idea that the Master Plan is both mission-driven and future-oriented. It means planning for the campus in a way that honors FHC’s spiritual foundation while preparing its spaces to serve the needs of the community for decades to come.

  • The Archdiocese will provide guidance and support and will be part of the community engagement process, helping ensure the plan aligns with broader parish and diocesan priorities.

  • Updates, key decisions, and opportunities to get involved will be shared regularly on the project website, www.fhc-campusmasterplan.com. Information will also be communicated through the parish newsletter and the school newsletters to ensure the entire community stays informed throughout the process.

  • The plan will identify priorities that can be addressed in the short term (1-3 years), mid term (3-7 years), and long term (7+), allowing projects to move forward in a logical sequence based on need, impact, and available resources.

  • Decisions will be made by the Planning Committee. Their direction will be informed by community feedback gathered throughout the process, along with institutional knowledge of the campus, its facilities, and long-term operational needs.

  • The exact amount of capital to be raised will be determined during the next three months, as priorities and project needs become clear.
